Kansas City Comfort
We got invited to work on this project by one of our favorite interior designers, Bria Hammel. She gave Brian the green light to add the proverbial special sauce to the project, and that we did. My major creative contributions to this project are numerous— I designed the island end profile, a key piece in the kitchen. I also designed the base molding wrapping all of the cabinets. Additionally I spearheaded the lower level bar design, the mudroom benches and the library hallway.
Again, I did all of the technical drawings for both the clients and the shop. I also executed all of the engineering, produced all of the parts and prepared them to be machined. This project in particular taught me organization. Also, notably… the work was featured in a book called “On Style: Inspiration & Advice from the New Generation of Interior Design”, pictured below.
